Methods and models implemented by default into the Cost Xpert Tool Suite are benchmarks that have been generated out of more than 35'000 customer projects analyses. Therefore, an estimation accuracy of ±20% can be achieved out of the box.

 

To achieve a steady improvement of the estimation accuracy, Cost Xpert advises its clients to customize methods and models for their specific company and project-related conditions (e.g. illustrations of individual processmodels) and illustrate their own models and methods. No source code adjustments will be done. Customers achive thereby a deviation of under 10% with system-, standard- or individual-software between actual and estimated data. Additionaly, custimization simplifies the fast implementation of the Cost Xpert Tool Suite through the usage of company-specific formulas.
