The systematic work flow of the Integrated Methodology driven Estimation is a standardized leading process for purposeful realization of individual objectives.
Even in an early phase - prior to budget release - the workflow of IME process is followed systematically. The workflow process is structured in specific phases along with its logical interdependencies. The gradual execution of activities along the estimation process leads to greater security in the planning process:
- Selection of Project type, Process model, Programming language, etc.
- Estimation of Scope (Project size/volume)
- Estimation of Effort (Generation of activity and resource plan)
- Estimation of Time (Schedule)
- Estimation of Cost (funding plan/cash flow)
- Estimation of Risk (Risk profile)
- Estimation of Errors (Defects/Maintenance costs)
- Estimation of Documentation Page Count (Documentation)
After completion of the process activity/execution our clients achieve realistic estimation of all relevant elements of their allocation. What-if-analyses and simulations of different scenarios allow for optimal planning and risk minimization. New requirements and change requests are captured and integrated immediately into the project work flow on an ongoing basis. This ensures the support of initial estimation and the estimation during the project run. The methodical supported loop leads to continuous and systematic optimization of business and service processes including the product quality.
