RSS (Really Simple Syndication)
RSS is a platform independent internet technology which is used to exchange information, messages etc. in a very simple way. RSS is especially used for exchange and broadcast of news. The content of the RSS file is provided in a machine readable manner as short form of information, e.g. press release or product announcement. The RSS file includes mostly a headline and a summary of an article or other document. The RSS file does provide a link to the internet address with the corresponding webpage, where the information can be found. RSS is mostly used at webpage’s, which change frequently.

RSS-Feeds
RSS-Feeds can be subscribed. New RSS-files and therefore new information or updated content will be send automatically to the subscriber. These allow staying at latest information possible, without need to navigate to the webpage manually and check for new/updated content. Once a new/update content is published the subscriber will be immediately informed via the RSS feature. If the information is of interest, one can access the complete information via the browser. RSS-Feed provision can be identified by a special orange color symbol RSS or a button which is titled as "XML" or "RSS".

You can subscribe a RSS-Feed by just click on the RSS Feed link. Usually your browser shows via the RSS symbol, if a RSS-Feed is available. With a click on the RSS-Feed symbol of your browser, you can subscribe the RSS-Feed as well.
